Brother #1 - Doug

Okay, so I am back to family introductions.  I sure got sidetracked from when I finished introducing my sister, Peggy.  Doug is the third out of the five us kids.  His whole name is William Douglas and he is unique in his own way.  He could get me to believing anything he said or wanting me to do.  He loves to go back into times when we were growing up and having fun no matter where we were.  I keep in touch with him throughout the year and get together with him a few times.  I know that's not alot but for our family.  No one seems to make the time to get together.  We're so busy in our own lives.
Here is a pigture of him - taken years ago.   This ?Doug and his wife Karen - pigture is fuzzy or too  many drinks?  I could use the excuse that it's to protect the innocent. hahaha!
This one is a long time ago.  Pigture him now with silver hair!
I don't want to spoil his beautiful image.  He would like these.
So, Doug is really generous in today's society, but I remember when we were in high school (he was one year ahead of me) and he had this really cool '57 Chevy that he had painted a green color. He named her Hazel.  So, I was walking home from school and turned to see this car coming from behind me.  It slowed down next to me and he leaned over to the passenger side and just looked at me.  I started to get in on the passenger side but he pulled forward and looked away and drove on.  I was so mad at him, but that was the way he was back in the high school days.  He claims to this day he didn't do that and would never do that to his sister.  Yeah! Right!  Would you believe he was the mascot for Mesa Community College at one time?! Gotcha back big brother.  When we were kids, we were always getting into things. It didn't matter that we thought we were in trouble for going into gulch while the Army was doing their maneuvers or that Doug almost blew up our house by hiding explosives in his closet or that we were told not to go into the woods or that we were caught spying on the family that wore funny looking underclothes or not to run through the spray truck or chase the cows in the pasture.  NOPE!  We were a team and laugh at it all. And, what would Doug have to say to it all.......  Jane did it!   Visit again when I finish our family introductions with our baby brother Brett.   Thanks for stopping by.  pinkpigy@aol.com
