Hello all of you wonderful Piglets,
Sometimes we just get into stamping by having someone show us what to do. After being in the Stampin' Up! business, I have had to go back to some of the basics (that I never knew existed). A few of my customers ask "how do you do that" or "I didn't know how to use it because I was never shown". Well, the first is not hard for us experienced stampers; but, the "I was never shown" is a scarey thing. With so many new projects and cards out there all the time, it is really hard to step backwards and visit some of the basic things in stamping. Here are a couple pigtures of two very important tools of our trade.
Don't hurt the photographer (look in the Big Idea & Book on page 198, item@102787, $9.95/100 sheets). I use these all the time. Trust me..... order these and love them, too. On the right side is a handy guide for card measurements and a list area.
I use the little cells and lines and ruler everytime I work on cards or projects. Go online and note that I am your demonstrator so I get the credit. Thank you.
This one shows the paper cutter (shown on page 199 of the Idea Book & Catalog). Cost is $24.95 and you get the cutter, cutting blade, and scoring blade). This is a really cool tool to have with you all the time. Trust me (again). This cutter is something alot of crafters tend not to know how to put to use with all it has to offer
See how it compares with the grid sheet. I mark my cutter with the Signo White Gel Pen for measurements I use alot. You can't see it. Ha! The whiteor silver line in the blue track is accumulated pieces of paper and I now I will leave and go clean it out. Makes the cutter work better. LOL
I am going to attempt to do a tutorial, so hang in there with me for awhile. I am closing this blog down for today.
Thanks for stopping by and happy pigtrails to you,
