Trying to get to Louisville KY

So, I get a call from my sister. Now what is it I wonder. Twice in the past week. Yes, we were on the phone talking for 2 hrs. 25 mins.
Well, she wants to know if I am planning on coming back. And, if I was - were we going down toward southern Indiana - Kentucky. I tell her I was thinking of surprising her and showing up.  She is going through a reclusive state right now.  Alot of my friends and customers and club members say I have to get out more. Believe me..... she takes the cake.  I can tell it in our conversations each time.
She said she would be unhappy, (just as my wonderful niece said);  but I really don't think she would. She labeled herself as compulsive/obsessive. Not even close darlin'.  I got miffed but then she's entitled to whatever she wants for herself.
Then she tells me if I wasn't then she and her daughter would drive down. Now...... the steam is starting to rise!  What, go without me.  So, I had to tell her what I was planning. Not my old sister for sure! I think those new shoes she got for her feet might be a little too tight.

The next couple days I will try to get my airfare figured out.  And, call her on Thursday to see what we can do.  Here's my dilemna:

Do we fly in to meet in Louisville - rent a car - travel to our designated visting sites (which is in the Fort Knox area)?  Then head our way up to Indiana to visit aunts and cousins? Then up to Grand Rapids for a week or so?

Do we fly in to meet in Indianapolis and drive down to the southern part of our planned trip? Which means we would be travelling through Indiana to get to Fort Knox and then back up again.

Does she drive down to meet me in Indianapolis and we head on down south? And, just drive the whole way?

Do I fly in to Grand Rapids and we drive to our planned trip sites?  It is about an eight hour drive and we would take a day to get down there and a day to get back.

I don't know of anyone kind enough to give me a free plane fare to Louisville. So I will check the flight fares out .  Oh brother!  Speaking of brother - I might ask my brothers if they want to go. On second thought, naaaah.
