Are you asking about my pigs?

Okay, here we go -  my sister,Vicki, was a teacher at Agua Fria HS, Avondale. Their mascot is an owl so she had started her collection of owls.  I had to start some type of collection of my own so I started with unicorns. My niece (Kristi) started bragging about her collection of horses and unicorns and how they were so much better than mine (yes, that irked me a little bit). So, I wanted a different collection. At that time, Lee had just joined the Phoenix Police Department. So, one day when Mom and Vicki and I were shopping, they came up to me and handed me this little piggie.  I was going to 'collect' pigs. PIGS (Pride, Integrity, Guts, Service). And, that is how it got started.  It isn't so bad with one pig here or one pig there. However, thousands get to be a bit much.  eBay?  how can I decide which ones to eBay?! NOT.  And, some I got the idea that there are 3 little pigs and a big bad wolf - so collect them in groups of 3 and the wolf has to be a part of them.   And, let me ask you -  how many poopin' pigs do I need?  Alot!  It's the thought and I love them all because they all have a special meaning and come from everyone who has been so thoughtful.  Here are a couple pigtures (the best of my collection - Disney (should I say anything else)

You can see the two Big Bad Wolfs. The original is the wolf hiding in the trees.

And, I will huff and puff and blooooow your house down (and then cough and cough because I can't huff and puff with all this pollution outside). LOL

Welcome to pinkpigycrafts pig pen. Just finished with holiday stuff and need to work on cleaning but who has time when Valentine projects coming up.
My pigworkstation is there in the lower part of the pigture with the ottlite on it. See it?

See all the pigs lining up around the ceiling areas.  I had to pack some to make room for Stampin' Up!
Happy pigtrails to you, pinkpigy@aol.com

Let's start at the very beginning....

it's a very good place to start...... Remember that little tune - do, re, me?  or is it A,B,C?
Anyway, I got so excited about just starting this blog-thing, that I forgot to give you a little bit of my background.  So, it will be brief.
My name is pinkpigy@aol.com (really Jane) and I have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for the past 6 1/2 years (May will be make it 7 yrs).  How did I last so long?!  Anyway,
you will get to know my family along the way.  I am married to DH Lee (yes, believe it, there are still some of those around and you can take it as 'darling husband' or 'devil husband').  We have 2 children, Tracie (Craig) who have Emily (12) and Allie (8); Travis (Melissa) who have Colton (12) and Raina (3).
I am retired from the City of Phoenix and now devote most of my waking hours to Stampin' Up! projects.  So, I am busier now than I was when I was working.  The housecleaning gets put aside, but I'm working on it.  I do not have any Stampin' Up! inventory; however, I have my own personal stash that I buy for myself.  That in its ownself is the problem.  What can I say???????  I love it all!
I will also refer to the "olden" days and let me introduce my birth family to you.  Bill and Audrey are (I say are because they are and always be my parents even though they are deceased).  I have 2 sisters (Vicki (deceased) and Peggy); I have 2 brothers (Doug and Brett).  To conclude this little introductory portion, how do the pigs fit in? Well, that will be a post for maybe tomorrow.
Now, I am done with this blog. Pigtures to follow.

Mamas got a brand new bag

Ha! I mean Mama Pig has a brand new bag. Did you see it to the right side. Cute, huh? I got it at a boutique craft sale a couple months ago. Just the right size for me. The straps are a little long, but I can manage. No, it's not a Coach or Dooney Bourke or Brighton. But, it's mine. Yeah, it is made out of denim and it is cute, cute. cute.

What a weekend!

I just cannot believe the past two days.  I think I need to get a job outside the home just to get some rest.  My Stampin' Up! business is moving right along.  I have to tell you that I appreciate every customer who comes to me and each order I get I do not take for granted.  This is my business now.  I once considered myself only a "hobby demonstrator", but I can't have that title anymore.  I do workshops, classes, clubs, lots of stampin' things. Not just for myself anymore.  Anyone who wants to learn more about bringing the creative side out is invited to be part of my Stampin' Up! life.
I love it and right now, this is where I want to be.  And, I am heading a little bit at a time further up the road. So, thank you, thank you, thank you so much.
Anyway, as in a couple of my previous posts - I shared a few pigtures of the 2011 calendar/frame class I had. I have to pat myself on the back for coming through with this project.  I added bling and little detailed items on each monthly page.....and the generous, kinds words just boosted my self-worth and confidence right through the ceiling. Everyone who attended had fun and just loved their calendar.  I do have a few left if you are interested in purchasing one.  $45.00 (includes twelve monthly pages, page protectors, hand constructed frame, rings to hold pages, ribbon for decoration, and emailed tutorial, and shipping charges).
That is one super deal.  Just please email me at pinkpigy@aol.com if you would like to order one.
If you would like to order just the frame, they are $15.00 each (including shipping charges).  I do need the money before I can send them out.  Thanks.
I also had my Stamp Club this weekend (I know, I know....back to back - whew!). I just love my club members.  My piglets are so good. I am so glad they have stayed with me so long.  I believe I take really good care of them and I always let them know how much I appreciate each one of them.  This is their club and I let them suggest what projects we will do each month (within reason) and so far, they have really liked them all.  And, the main thing is - when they take their turn at being hostess, WOW!  I think they are catching on to how nice it is to get FREE stuff.
No pigture today. Just checking in and updating. Thanks for stopping in.  Happy pigtrails to you, pinkpigy@aol.com

Happy New Year!

Oh my goodness!  I was so excited about getting this blog-thing going and wham! right off the bat - I noticed I hadn't been on since last year.  Drats!  Well, I had to rest, but didn't think it would this long of a rest.  NOW! piglets - let's get started. But, first, I want to say "I have my very first follower." How excited I am. you can be a follower if you want.  Just see what you have to do. I'm not much help yet, cuz' I haven't figured it out.
I want to try my best to do my best, and that will take some time. So, to get on with some good things.  I have  (attempted) to take a couple pigtures.  One is from the super neat-o Occasions Mini Catalog (OMC) - XOXO is the stamp set and it comes in wood or clear mounted.  For the clear mounted stamps, you will need some type of acrylic block (and, imagine this if you will - Stampin' Up! has a variety of acrylic blocks to match the different sizes of clear mount stamps).  So, how cool is that!  Okay, so I don't get the photographer of the year award. At least, I'm showing the products.  The glimmer paper is a favorite -it's shiney and glimmery.
See.....    go on line and cruise through the OMC and see all the goooooood stuff.  I hope you will think of buying from me when you want to order Stampin' Up! products.

So, look at this great deal.  I had sent an email out to my mailing list offering 30 pieces of 6x6 Designer Series Papers for only $14.00 (includes mailing charges).  Here is a sample (these papers are from the 'Love Impressions' Specialty DSP pack. I have another demonstrator to thank for this idea, but I'm sure she wouldn't mind if I do this offer for you.  I have to have the money before sending them out and at this time I do not take credit/debit transactions (cash, check, or money order only).  Email me at pinkpigy@aol.com ifyou are interested.
You might not get the exact squares as shown in the pigture, but each one is excellent. The way they are cut and end up are a little different, but if you want all of them, just place an order on line... http://www.janerappleyea.stampinup.net/
This item@121780 'Love Impressions Specialty Designer Series Paper.... $11.95 and coordinates with the stamp set and glimmer paper as shown above.
I think I have shared enough today.  I hope your day goes well and happy pigtrails to you, Jane
Okay, I just knew I couldn't quite stop. I haven't written enough, so here is a couple pigtures of the 2011 calendar/frame class I am doing this Saturday.  The spaces are filled; however, you can order the kit for $45.00 (that includes a tutorial with pigtures and the frame and shipping charges).  If you are interested in purchasing one or more, let me know.  I will do as many as frames I have left over (my framemaker said the ones he just made are the last ones he will make). Hurry, they make great gifts or just keep one for yourself and duplicate for a class.

oooo...see the little blotch in the November 24th square? I stamped and colored the retired "gobble gobble" turkey on white cardstock and put it through my printer on copy (zoomed it down to 25%) and voila`! Then, I cut it out and glued on the calendar.  I know, I know, how stinkin' cute is that!
Stampin' Up! didn't have alot of the blingie things so I had to make them or purchase them in a local craft store.  The calendar page for September I did using the Holiday Mini Catalog (French Foliage), but there are other stamps that can be used to give the results.  I am so proud of myself for creating this page. Now, I will say happy pigtrails, Jane
